Faith Matters. Finances Matter.
Welcome Back
As a member-owned credit union, democracy drives our direction. Every member has one vote, no matter their balance, and each elected director represents your interests rather than shareholders. This structure ensures profits are returned to members as better rates, lower fees, and programs that strengthen families and communities.
Your vote. Your voice. Your credit union.
Our directors commit significant time and expertise to keep DFCU strong, ethical, and member-focused. Working closely with executive leadership, they define the mission and long-term strategy while monitoring financial health and performance. Above all, they serve as the member's voice in every major decision.
Nine dedicated professionals currently serve on DFCU's Board of Directors:

They come from diverse backgrounds—education, business, nonprofit, and community service—but share one commitment: ensuring DFCU thrives for its 80,000+ members.
In addition to the Board, the Supervisory Committee provides independent oversight. This volunteer group examines controls, ensures compliance, and verifies safeguards protecting member assets. Their work, supported by audit functions, adds another layer of accountability and trust.
DFCU's strength comes from members who step forward to lead. Whether through Board elections, committee service, or participation in focus groups, your perspective can help shape the credit union's future. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds to share their expertise and experiences.
Unlike banks with distant corporate boards, DFCU's directors are your neighbors, elected by you to represent your interests. Their volunteer service ensures every decision prioritizes members over profit. And tomorrow's leaders may be today's members—your opportunity to serve begins here.
